About Product
Bring a little crunch to your home garden with Red Radish Seeds (Mula). Radish is a quick-growing root vegetable that makes a great choice for beginners as well as experienced home gardeners.

With the right sunlight, loose soil and regular watering, these seeds develop into fresh red radish roots that can be harvested while young and tender. They’re especially suited for kitchen gardens, grow bags, pots and terrace gardens.

Direct sow, give them room to grow, and enjoy the satisfaction of pulling your own fresh radishes from the soil.

How to Use?

1. Choose the Spot
Select a location that receives good sunlight and has well-drained soil.

2. Prepare the Soil
Use loose, fertile soil that allows the radish roots to develop easily. Remove stones, hard clumps and weeds.

3. Sow the Seeds
Sow the seeds about 1 inch deep and leave around 3 inches between plants. Radish is best grown by direct sowing rather than transplanting.

4. Water Regularly
Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging.

5. Thin the Seedlings
Once seedlings emerge, remove overcrowded plants so the remaining radishes have enough space to form healthy roots.

6. Let Them Grow
Keep the growing area weed-free and provide regular sunlight and watering.

7. Harvest Fresh
Harvest when the roots have reached a good size and are still young and tender.

How to Harvest?

Don’t wait too long once the radishes reach a good size.

Gently loosen the soil around the root and pull the radish straight out. For tender, crisp radishes, harvest while the roots are young rather than leaving them in the soil for too long. Bombay Seeds currently recommends harvesting when the roots reach at least about 1 inch in diameter.

Tip: Harvest in the morning for fresh, crisp radishes and remove the leafy tops before storing.

Yes! Red radish is well suited to containers, grow bags, balconies and terrace gardens, provided the container has enough depth and good drainage.

Do I need to transplant radish seedlings?

How often should I water radish plants?

Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. Avoid overwatering or allowing the soil to remain soggy.
